A bright sundress, sandy feet, salty hair, and golden skin are the standard dress code for Montauk. That, and the desire to relax and have fun are all you need if you're ever heading to that part of the world. Montauk is a small town at the end of Long Island, on a strip of land bordered on both sides by the ocean. It's best for amazing sunsets, lazy days on the beach, falling asleep to the sound of the surf breaking on the shore and starting the day with a delicious coffee - I know, I was surprised too (!) - and a tasty breakfast bagel.

Beautiful sunrays on the water.
Yallingup....now that brings back memories x
We both had beach getaways this weekend! Your photos are marvellous! x
Hi my dear friend, Thanks so much for your insight on my post, really appreciate it. If were not for you, I'd never have know the natural beauty that is Montauk. Serenely beautiful pictures of what seems to be a very relaxing vacation. Two stand out to me in particular - the first picture of the lighthouse and the 4th one with the sun rays through the clouds. Award-winning photo material!
Sounds like a lovely way to farewell summer. Some truly gorgeous photos in here beautiful lady. x
I've heard Montauk before but know very little about it. I've got a friend who's from Long Island but now resides in the UK. Must ask him more about this place.
Absolutely breathtaking photos!
It's been years since I've been to Montauk and I don't quite recall it being so lovely. It's nice you got there before summer ends.
I'm not surprised KK was just as gorgeous in person. Are you getting used to the NYC celebrity encounters yet?
I've been feeling better lately. Thanks for asking sweetie.

I am embarssed to say, but I’ve never been to the hamptons! I thought I was ready for Fall.. but these pictures are making me sad that Summer is ending.
AND... let’s definitely get drinks soon! Fall will be less hectic and we will be more available in the city... let’s plan something! Maybe in October?

What a way to say goodbye to summer! Montauk is just fabulous and beautiful. Glad you had a great time. Now onto fun fall times in the city :) xoxo
What stunning photos. I can't wait till it's warm enough to visit the beaches here. Hope you had the best time, and only 3 hours from NYC? How perfect!

Lovely Greetings from Austria ♡
These are some of the coolest pictures I've seen in a while. Love them!
That first photo is so idyllic. Reminds of time spent in Maine with my mom. I love the look on your hubby's face; contentment that can only be found at the beach.
Cheers,

Gorgeous piccies, they make me so happy. Loving that shot of lime in the beach houses too
Love the sun rays over the water- such happiness.
It's funny that Montauk is having such a moment these days. It's fashionable now! We go to Sag Harbor during the summer- I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we'll get out at least one more time before summer's end.
So happy I found your blog! Fashion, Fun, Travel, New York and you are from the country where I am planning my next big adventure....Australia. Keep up the great work!

Lovely photos - the sand dunes remind me a little of the ones about half an hour from where I live.
